We will retrieve 28 missionaries from the Santa Barbara Airport tomorrow - 11 of them sisters! We have rented a bus to transport them back to Ventura. Plus we will have the Mission van, Mission truck with a rented trailer hitched on, the Assistant's truck, and Sister Castro's van -- these to bring all the luggage! What an undertaking! And to think this sort of thing is occurring all over the world. Exciting to be involved in the hastening of the Lord's work.
I hope Randy will be able to get pictures of the bus, etc. And I plan to get some pictures and report on how the week goes -
THEN - visits from Andrea's and Erica's families! YAY! Can't wait to see them -- arriving Thursday and Friday. We will have a fun-packed weekend :)
Oh, my sweet mother was telling me that my nephew Jeff's son, Justin, who is going to the Ukraine on his mission, reported that after three weeks in the MTC, he is now praying in Russian. He says he knows Russian better after three weeks in the MTC than he did French after three years in high school. Truly the Lord is performing miracles in many ways -- here, with the bestowal of the gift of tongues! Go Justin!
