Transfer Week

Headed to Argentina (at last!).  They served in our mission for 12 weeks.

Elder Webb, Elder James
These two were in Oxnard the last six weeks.
When Elder Webb was transferred from Bakersfield to Oxnard last transfer, he lost his backpack.  Luckily, he had time to get everything replaced.

Elders Webb, Thompson, MacArthur, James
Excited to be on their way
Elder Mecham and I drove them to LAX Monday morning.

Orientation meeting with our 42 incoming!
I couldn't fit them all in one photo.
What a great group.  Happy and ready to go to work!

It was quite the procession as all this luggage was brought into the Stake Center.

Two great elders, Elder Smith and Elder Martin
Assistants to the President

We used to attend the Tuesday evening testimony meeting with the departing missionaries.  Policy has changed, and we no longer attend that meeting.  I loved hearing the sweet testimonies and I shall miss that very much.  I shall also miss being able to say a quiet goodbye to those missionaries.  The ones leaving now are ones we know quite well, most of them.  We wish them the very best.  Unfortunately I do not have pictures. We loved Elder Ipsen and Elder Gates, Assistants who traveled home Wednesday. Elder Mecham sees them, as he always drives to the airport Wednesday morning.  But that is not quite the same.
