Farewell dinner at Maddox

On Friday, March 23, Randy and I met Larry & Dorothy, Dan & Thelma, and Mother & George in Brigham City for dinner at Maddox, the traditional place for us to get together (for Mother's Day and to celebrate Mother's birthday). We had a lovely visit with lots of fun and laughing, and of course, great eating -- something we seem to be pretty good at :) I have the best family! I'm so grateful for the kind considerations and love we are able to share. Larry and Dorothy, who are a twice-experienced missionary couple, had good advice for us, plus lots of enthusiasm.

Prior to this dinner, we met Tawn, Alyssa, & Victoria and Mauri, Kyri, Graysen, & Tanzi at the park in Brigham City. They had met for lunch previously. The kids had a blast at the park. It was breezy, but when the wind died down, it was pleasant. The kids loved playing together and being outside.

Thursday evening we met Ryan and Lisa, Rebecca, Caroline, and Kennedy in Burley for dinner. They were on their way to Utah for Spring Break, and we had such a fun visit with them!

Time with family is so precious!

"Sacrament Meeting Farewell"

Even though we are not heading to the MTC for three more weeks, we spoke in Church (El Rancho Ward) on Sunday, March 11. Randy spoke on the Priesthood, and my topic was Family. We were overwhelmed at the love and support our family extended. Our house was literally overflowing with this love, as the families of Andrea, Ryan, Tawn, Devin, and Mauri gathered, as well as Theresa, Mother and George, Larry and Dorothy, Dan and Thelma, Norman and Mitzi and Alex. Wow! We keenly missed Erica and Jared's families, but really, too far is too far :) We enjoyed visiting with everyone and only wished time could have slowed down for our time together. We are blessed with the best families ever! Thanks for making this a sweet day!

Unfortunately, with all the hustle and bustle of getting everyone fed, no one thought to get the camera out and take pictures. Sad about that!
